Mr. Slavid is a leading auctioneer and general appraiser at Skinner with 40 years’ experience. He is regularly seen on popular television appraisal programs. All attendees may bring one item for a professional (verbal) appraisal. It is not mandatory to bring an item. You are welcome to attend and watch the fun. Appraisals will be done by Mr. Slavid with audience interaction.

Cost is $15 (non-members/guests $20) Includes catered hot/cold appetizers, dessert, wine and soft drinks

No fine jewelry, coins, stamps or musical instruments please! Pictures may be substituted for large and/or fragile items. For china and silver sets, one/two pieces and a written list of the rest is fine.

Note: Skinner and the Women of St. Luke’s may not be held responsible for damage/loss of any item

Space limited to 50 items for appraisal. (audience size limited to 75) Time permitting, additional items may be appraised ($5 per item). Bring them along, but register only one item.

OUR MISSION

Love God and neighbor through works of service for St. Luke’s Parish and the greater Westborough community.

Our mission is to meet service and social needs of members, parishioners and greater St. Luke’s Parish community.

We foster vibrant fellowship and support St. Luke’s nursing and outreach efforts to help neighbors in-need across all walks of life.

Social Activities offer fun and unique events. New members are paired-up with current members to encourage a warm welcome to the group.

Service projects support, homebound parishioners, families, new mothers and teens in local prisons.

Scholarships are awarded each year based on student leadership and service merits.

Our Annual $10K Raffle is our main fund- raiser to support all our programs.

All St. Luke’s women are members of our group! We invite you to share in these events anytime throughout the year!

St. Luke’s Women’s Group Supports…

Service and Fellowship Programs – uniting parish needs with stewardship activities.

People in-Need – babies, children, teen prisoners, home-bound, families and senior adults.

Students – scholarships to those exemplifying strong Christian leadership and community service skills.

SERVICE PROJECTS

  • Financial aid for St. Luke’s Outreach and Nursing staff to support parishioner needs.
  • Christmas, Ash Wednesday and Holy Week care packages for home-bound parishioners.
  • Essays and book discussions  with teen girls from local prison.
  • Holiday treat bags 4 times a year for prison girls and boys. 
  • Meals and support for families affected by illness or trauma.
  • Support for local agencies – food pantries, women’s shelters, clothing drives, baby items.
  • Giving Tree and “Adopt-a-Family” brings Christmas to families in-need
